We've helped thousands of students land their dream job in tech. Discover how we will help you.
Our application process is made up of three steps:
An online written application form
A personal interview to get to know you better
A final technical interview to assess your ability to pick up the concepts that will be covered in your course quickly.
Yes, it is, but you have to put in the work. Ironhack will give you all the educational materials, teachers and support along every step of the way. But, you have to come prepared to work hard and to put in much more than the minimum.
Scholarships and discounts are launched together with partners who want to encourage education in tech and those are announced when we close an agreement. If you are interested in these initiatives, you can stay updated using this form. We don't offer general scholarships or discounts.
If your professional goals in terms of salary and job position are aligned with the job market, you can find a job in around 3 to 6 months after graduation. From Ironhack, we fight for tech companies to become more diverse in terms of backgrounds, ages and gender in their teams. That is why we try to demonstrate the ability of our students and get them ready for the most demanding selection processes.
At Ironhack, we believe that diversity and inclusion means supporting everyone. Your age or previous background is not a problem to join the Bootcamp. If you are worried about companies rejecting your profile or having difficulties to get to the job market, we can evaluate your case and check if the Bootcamp is aligned with your career goals. At Ironhack, we are committed to give you an honest feedback and orientation in your career. We admit anyone who shows the Ironvalues and wants to improve their technical skillset.
The online test will evaluate your logical skills according to the requirements of the program. It is not a test based on knowledge but on abilities. If you pass the test and the personal interview, you will recieve an admission letter for the program.

To access the full time or part time program of UX/UI Design, you don't need any previous requirement: it is enough if you love learning, you are motivated and willing to work. We recommend this program to those candidates who have a great eye for design, empathy, creativity and communication skills - also, you should be passionate about websites, apps and the digital environment.
Each Bootcamp comes with mandatory pre-work, which covers the essential knowledge and basic information of each track. This ensures that everyone will have the same foundational knowledge on the first day of class.
That being said, some people will move faster than others, but that's OK! Our curriculum is designed to adapt itself to those that are moving more quickly and those that need a bit more help.
There are as many profiles as students! Some of the most common backgrounds are: psychology, marketing, architecture, design, arts, and media... but it is not necessary to have a university degree or any specific education. Remember that at Ironhack we are specialized in teaching students with really diverse backgrounds.
Most of our students become junior data analysts or junior business intelligence analysts. Although less common, it is not unheard of for them to be placed in other positions, such as junior data engineer or junior data scientist. However, each student’s previous experience is highly influential in their placement.
The interview will be in the same language in which the program of your choice is being taught.
#Ironhackers is our community of alumni, teachers, and mentors! Our relationship doesn't end once the course is over: once an Ironhacker, always an Ironhacker.
The pre-work is a mandatory online pre-course of around 100 hours that should be done one week before the starting of the class so all students start the adventure with a similar level of knowledge.
If you want to get more information about the content of the pre-work you can check the Content of the Program or download our syllabus, where everything is explained in detail.
At Ironhack our course and teaching practices follow three themes of pedagogy established through decades of teaching and learning research:
Constructive Learning
We recognize the difference between individuals and focus on avoiding the cookie-cutter education model often found in traditional schools. We provide the maximal guidance and instructional support to our students when they need them. Meanwhile we encourage motivated and capable students to continue learning beyond the curricula by providing additional learning resources that are carefully selected to strengthen their knowledge. What's more, every student will have the opportunity to idealize, prototype, and develop their own projects they feel fun and meaningful. We try our best to make our students feel their learning experiences are fulfilling and useful for realizing their dreams.
Learning By Doing
The best way to learn technology is by doing it. Our curricula is filled up with carefully designed hands-on exercises to help students translate knowledge into skills. While applying what they think they know in the hands-on work, students often find holes and mismatches in their knowledge maps. They will then amend and fix those secretive problems. Also, during the iterative trial-and-error learning process, students will discover relations between seemingly isolated concepts and identify the most efficient way to accomplish tasks.
Cognitive Apprenticeship
You will find our instructors love explaining the "whys" in addition to the "hows" in coding and designing. This is because experts really differ from novices by knowing what to do at the right time and context. As apprentices of coding and design, it is important for the students to know the cognition of the veterans in order to really master the knowledge.
Ironhack provides a private certificate that proves that the program was completed. The bootcamps are not recognized by the traditional standards of the Education administration. Due to its intensive and hands-on format, it wouldn't be possible to adapt the content and schedules to the official requirements. However, for some campuses you can get public financing to study with us. For more information, contact the Admissions Manager.
The cost of the program depends on each campus, since it varies depending on the market and local currency. You can check each campus and program visiting each course and campus page.
Of course! You should always learn more about this area, you can join our webinars and make sure that data analysis is for you. It is not necessary to have any previous training but you should demonstrate this is the path you want to follow.
During the bootcamp you will learn the most required abilities, that is why some of our graduates are hired in all kinds of companies, from big companies to other tech start-ups that share our values, consultant companies and agencies. Check the Ironhackers LinkedIn profiles to get inspired!

That's it! You're an Ironhacker!
Above all else, you will need to be extremely motivated and have a genuine interest in tech and coding. While we work continually to ensure you don’t lose a step, the bootcamp moves very quickly, so your dedication is essential. A previous introduction to coding, either through an introductory course in college or an online course, will be useful for you. But don’t get discouraged if you haven’t taken one — many of our students started without any previous knowledge and still became great developers. Nothing is more important than your mindset and your determination.
Ironhack Bootcamps are really demanding. If you choose the Full Time program, you will have to dedicate all your free time during the week and one weekend day (Saturday, for example). We recommend you to rest at least one day in the weekend. If you choose the Part Time program you will have to dedicate about 10 or 15 extra hours, but this is a program compatible with your 8 hours job.
Ironhack wants to help you to get your professional goals. If we don't have a campus in the country where you want to work, we can't guarantee direct help as we do in the countries where we are based on. However, you will have the support of your Career Coach to define an action plan and you will have acces to the Alumni network to get started wherever you want to be. As an Ironhacker, you belong to a global community
The training will be hands-on, guided by experts who combine teaching with their own projects and work. You will have to develop your own projects and exercises based on real life cases since day one. The best learning tool is feedback: this is key for learning at Ironhack. There are no grades or exams, this is disruptive education focused on the real job market.
In the Full Time program, you should go to class from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, and then you will have a lot of extra work after class. It is a really intensive program that is not compatible with any other activity such as work or studying.
In the Part Time program, you will have class two weekdays during the evening and on Saturdays. It is compatible with your full time job or any other circumstances, but remember that all your free time will be dedicated to the program. We estimate that you should invest at least 15 hours per week, besides the attendance to class.
Each program is different. In general terms, the programs include 50 hours of pre-work, 9 or 24 training weeks and 1 extra week of career support. All the programs' structures are divided in 3 modules and end with a final project that the student should create from scratch and present to the class.
The program has the same structure both in the full-time or part-time formats: the only difference is the duration of each module. The program is divided into modules and projects: there’s a module for Visual Design and UI Design, one for Coding, one for UX Design, and one for Project Management. All the modules are introduced at the beginning of the Bootcamp to allow you to integrate the learnings throughout the bootcamp. The projects connect the different module concepts through hands-on experience. They will put you in a real-world scenario to prompt you to apply the techniques learned in class to solve problems. By the end of the program, you will have a professional UXUI Portfolio with 3-6 projects, done using state-of-the-art tools and methods in the industry, to start your job search.
The salary range of a Web Developer depends on the level of expertise and specialization, as well as the specific country he/she is looking for a job. Usually, at Ironhack our students have a Junior profile and get jobs that don't require any previous experience. You can ask your Admissions Manager in the specific campus you choose, to know about the estimated salary in the country where you want to study.
Each person chooses their own learning path; however, many self-taught students give up this kind of training due to lack of motivation and models. In our program, you will have tight deadlines. You will be able to ask your questions to our Lead Teachers, and you will have to put every lesson into practice with real-life projects that will be supervised by the Education team. Also, it will be an inmersive experience in which your classmates will become your family.
The Bootcamp is structured for 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, for 3 months. However, we all learn at different speeds and you may need to study on your own after hours or over the weekend.
Yes, you can change your starting date if you let us know in advance and if there are available spots in the program. Please, remember that the place reservation payment is not refundable - exceptions are only made in a case by case basis

JavaScript continues to be the most popular coding language because it can be executed in both the back-end (server-side) and the front-end (client-side/browsers). How amazing is it that you can become a full-stack developer by learning just one coding language? Moreover, JavaScript has one of the most expansive and engaged developer communities in the world. This means you can easily find the right mentors who will happily share their knowledge and experience. And, if this wasn’t already enough, Amazon, Netflix, Spotify, Airbnb and many other international companies build their apps with JavaScript, making it perhaps the most in-demand technical skill today.

Any prior design experience is quite useful; however, it is not required for admission. On the other hand, solid social skills are a must, as any great UX/UI designer listens closely, empathizes and communicates clearly. These soft skills are essential — in order to find a product’s most effective tech solution, designers must work well with their colleagues and connect with their users.
Absolutely. As it turns out, many of our students already have computer science degrees or previous education. This is because the bootcamp teaches more than just coding. You’ll learn to utilize professional tools like GitHub, as well as the specific workflows that startups and software companies around the world are using. On top of that, you’ll learn software development best practices, SOLID principles, and technologies like MongoDB, ExpressJS, NodeJS and React.

Yes, the content is the same for all Ironhack campuses. Of course, each instructor has its own teaching style but the methodology and structure will always be the same. This alignment allow us to implement changes in the curriculum when we detect global trends or include improvements based on the feedback from students coming from different parts of the world.

Data retrieval, cleaning and analysis are performed by both data analysts and data scientists. Yet it’s the latter that apply machine and/or deep learning models in addition to these functions. Our Data Analytics course includes an introduction to understanding the fundamentals of machine and deep learning. However, it does not provide a complete understanding of the field.
While certainly useful, we don’t require our students to have any existing qualifications or skills in either mathematics or programming beyond the high school level. However, you will need a sincere interest in both programming and statistics. As is true for all Ironhack courses, you’ll need to be ready to push yourself and not hesitate to work with your teachers and teaching assistants — this is the only way you can get the most out of the course.
We can give you some tips and put you in contact with our students' network once you are enrolled, but Ironhack doesn't have any residence or housing available in the campus.
No, the program should be paid before it finishes. The only exception would be for those students with an ISA or other specific financing options, agreed with our partner financing entities.
Bootcamps are not for everyone, even if anyone can apply for them. The concept of bootcamp comes from the military camps: it means effort, teamwork and passion above anything else. Our Bootcamps are designed for reinventing education and go beyond the passive traditional education. Learning is based on projects, and there are no grades or exams. You will get constant feedback from teachers and classmates, our methodology is hands-on and you will be supported by the Careers Department to achieve your career goals. At Ironhack, the title is not the most important thing, but our job market network, our ability to adapt the content to the market needs and the technical skills of the Ironhackers.
Sure! Ironhack is designed for those who want to start their career in the tech industry. Please check our syllabus and gather all the information for each of the programs. Keep in mind that all our Bootcamps are super intensive. Learning to code is not easy, but if this is what you really want to do, get ready to change your life!
Skills in cybersecurity are global, so once you have the skills then you can apply for positions overseas.
Our application process is made up of three steps:
An online written application form
A personal interview to get to know you better
A final technical interview to assess your ability to pick up the concepts that will be covered in your course quickly.
#Ironhackers is our community of alumni, teachers, and mentors! Our relationship doesn't end once the course is over: once an Ironhacker, always an Ironhacker.
No. But if you need help finding housing we do have agreements with nice, affordable apartments near each campus. We also encourage students to link up before the course to find housing together. In the past, we've had up to 3 or 4 Ironhack students from the same cohort living in the same apartment!
Full-time and part-time Ironhackers receive the same quality education and career support, but each format comes with its own benefits to better fit your goals, lifestyle, financial situation, and state of being. Consider carefully which one makes the most sense for you. Keep in mind that both require the same amount of dedication from you, and will also include some independent work outside of class time.
Part time is a great choice if you're looking for more flexibility and want to work while studying, or need to balance your Bootcamp with other commitments. Full time can help you change careers more quickly, and is great for a more immersive experience, which allows you to get help more frequently from teaching staff and your fellow Ironhackers.
Our Admissions team will be able to advise you during the application process, and figure out which option is the best for you.

The Full Time teachers combine teaching with their projects and personal companies, whereas the Part Time teachers work at the same time in other companies or in their own projects.
You should be enrolled in the program at least 1 month before the bootcamp starts so you have time to complete the mandatory pre-work. Remember that you should do your interview and the online test, so we recommend you to submit your application as soon as possible (at least 5 weeks before the program starts)
Ironhack bootcamps are designed for you to start your career as a Junior Data Analyst, Web Developer or UX/UI Designer profile. However, depending on your background and expectations, we can give you orientation to make sure this is the training you are looking for. During the Career Week, our Career Coaches will help you stablish your goals and will guide you in your job search.
Keep in mind that you will do a personal interview before your admission to the program and we will be able to evaluate your personal situation.
No, the program should be paid before it finishes. The only exception would be for those students with an ISA or other specific financing options, agreed with our partner financing entities.
Yes, Ironhack is committed to their students to help them achieve their professional goals. We believe this is part of our mission and we want students to get involved in their own success. We have a Career Services department whose objective is to create relationships with companies and follow up with students in their selection processes. All our bootcamps include a Career Week in which you will develop and put into practice Job Hunting skills, we will help you to put together your CV and portfolio to get ready for the job market. The attitude, performance during the bootcamp and commitment of the students with their own goal is key to the success in the job search.
At Ironhack, you can find a wide range of profiles: recent graduates, people who never went to college, waiters, filmmakers, psychologists, Human Resources specialists, enterpreneurs, artists, people with a lot of years of working experience... We also admit students that have basic knowledge in some coding languages or in graphic design but they want to update their skills and boost their career. What they all have in common is their passion for tech and their need for specialization in an intensive education that gives them the technical skills needed to change or boost their career.
In the Full Time program you won't have any free day, you will have class every day from Monday to Friday until the training ends.
In the Part Time program some free days are given and you will have Christmas and Easter holidays, according to each country calendar. We will send you the calendar when the program starts.
Each program is different. In general terms, the programs include 50 hours of pre-work, 9 or 24 training weeks and 1 extra week of career support. All the programs' structures are divided in 3 modules and end with a final project that the student should create from scratch and present to the class.
Ironhack Bootcamps are really demanding. If you choose the Full Time program, you will have to dedicate all your free time during the week and one weekend day (Saturday, for example). We recommend you rest at least one day on the weekend. If you choose the Part Time program you will have to dedicate about 10 or 15 extra hours, but this is a program compatible with your 8 hours job.
Yes, you should have your own computer. If you are enrolled in the Web Dev or Data Analytics Bootcamps, any operative system should be fine. For the UX/UI Design Bootcamp, we try to adapt to the industry standards so we recommend you to check what operating system they prefer. Most of campus use software like Sketch or Flinto, only available for Mac, but you can also use alternative programs. In general, the computer should have 8GB of RAM and no older than 5 years.

Passion above all else! You don't need a particular skill set, and you don't need to come from a certain background. Ironhackers come from all corners of the world and bring a wealth of experiences with them.
That being said, Bootcamps aren't easy! So in the application process we look for people whose long term goals will genuinely benefit from our services. We also look for people who have enough time and energy to dedicate to the Bootcamp, and the motivation to see it through till the end.
It varies depending on the bootcamp and campus, but we typically have around 20 students per class. There is 1 Lead Teacher per bootcamp and 1 Teacher Assistant for every 10 students.

We're not going to lie, it's difficult, but definitely doable. We're cramming all of the key skills you need to achieve your goals into a few weeks/months. It also gets trickier when you balance Bootcamp with work and/or other commitments. So it's definitely a challenge, and you should be certain that you've got the right motivation to take it on.
That said, you don't need to be a tech genius to succeed. Our alumni are living proof: from Sales Assistant to Data Scientist, from Art History to UX/UI, from Chef to Full Stack Developer and from Music to Cybersecurity.
All you need is motivation. Where there's a will, there's a way.
The best way to get Bootcamp-ready is through completing the pre-work, which aims to give everyone the same foundational understanding of the core concepts in their chosen track.
Full time students will get 50 hours of training in a combination of self-paced and group activities, guided by an instructor in the week leading up to Bootcamp.
Part time students will receive the same training, but entirely self-paced for maximum flexibility. You can get started as soon as you become an official student.
There are uncountable benefits to enrolling in a Bootcamp, but let's highlight the main ones:
1. The most in-demand hard skills. We've got our fingers on the pulse of what tech companies are looking for in their candidates, and we're always adjusting our course content to make sure you're getting the hard skills that'll actually get you hired.
2. Hands-on experience. As well as lectures and reading material, every Ironhacker gets experience through hands-on projects that closely resemble what you'll be working on as a junior Web Developer, UX/UI Designer, Data Analyst, or Cybersecurity Officer. Putting your new skills into practice during Bootcamp helps you hit the ground running in your new career, and gives you an awesome portfolio to boost your job search.
3. Personalized career support and development. Our Career Services are available to every Ironhacker and include, but aren't limited to; portfolio, LinkedIn and resume assistance, 1-1 career guidance with a Career Coach, mock interviews, talks with HR and tech experts in your field. You'll also have access to job postings shared by our global network of hiring companies, who are looking for talent just like you. And thanks to us you'll be job-hunt and market-ready when it's time to meet them!
There are no knowledge requirements for our Bootcamps. As long as you have sufficient proficiency in [LANGUAGE], basic logical skills, enough time, and most importantly motivation, you're fit for a Bootcamp. Each cohort has students from different backgrounds so if you're starting from scratch with your tech knowledge, you're not alone.
