REMOTE PREPARATION
Once you become an official Ironhack Data analytics student, you will be given 60 hours of online learning material focusing on command line, Git, Python, MySQL, and statistical analysis. To get you ready for learning Data analytics, this essential prework will familiarize you with the basics of programming and statistics necessary for the bootcamp. With the prework under your belt, you’ll be more than ready to take on your bootcamp!

INTRO TO PYTHON
In this opening module, you’ll get to know the Ironhack team, your teachers and your fellow Ironhackers. As you settle into your new community, you’ll set up your development environment and review the results of your prework. Then it’s off to the races — with introductions to data wrangling and cleaning, APIs and web scraping as well as developing intermediate Git, SQL and Python skills.
Then it's time to put your new Python, API connection, and web scraping skills to the test! In your first project, you will create an entirely new data set that no one has ever used before. You will then share it with your classmates by saving it in an SQL database. Time to get a taste for the work of real-world data analysts!

ADVANCED ANALYTICS
Through this module, you will take a deeper look into the mathematics behind Data Analytics. Use Python to develop an understanding of inferential statistics and probability, as well as business intelligence fundamentals. After, you will learn storytelling presentation techniques to visualize your data and insights.
In this module’s last week, you will develop your second project: a complete analysis of real data sets that you will have processed, cleaned and visualized!

MACHINE LEARNING FUNDAMENTALS
You'll finish off your bootcamp by learning the fundamentals of machine learning. You’ll develop an understanding of the ML workflow, supervised and unsupervised learning, and the essentials of popular ML algorithms. Then you will build, train and evaluate models by learning to use the scikit-learn ML library.
You'll learn how to build an end-to-end ML project, by processing a data set, extracting features, training and using a model to make predictions on new data. By the end of this module, you will be prepared to apply ML to real-world data sets!
For your final project, select or build a data set, then apply the most appropriate analytical models for your question. This is open-ended — ranging from a rigorous statistical analysis to BI presentation or the development of a machine learning model. As your most complex project, this will challenge you to apply your newfound knowledge in innovative ways. Once your project is complete, you will compete alongside your fellow students in our Hackshow. This project will also be the crown jewel of your Data Analytics portfolio, which means it will go a long way toward securing an interview during our hiring week.

Our Admissions team will walk you through each simple step
Once you've submitted your application, you'll be invited to a personal interview. This is our opportunity to get to know you, and your opportunity to ask your most burning questions. We'll make sure that you're embarking on the right bootcamp journey and give you all of the information you need.
You'll be assigned a very simple technical test, designed to measure your aptitude. Ironhack's bootcamps are beginner-friendly, and so is the test, so don't stress. No hard skills required here. (That's what your bootcamp is for!)
Now it's time to sign the Student Agreement, which makes you an offical Ironhacker! At this point you'll also pay the deposit. (The rest of your tuition fee payment will depend on your chosen financing option.)
As an official Ironhack bootcamp student, you'll have access to online prework that helps us level the playing field and ensure that everyone is bootcamp-ready!
